What work of art (film, book, record, whatever) changed your life?

The movie Harold and Maude with the sound track by Cat Stevens changed my life. I saw it when I was twelve because my step-father thought it was time for me to see an R-rated movie! He was disappointed, but I loved it. Later, I was sad to hear that Yusuf Islam stopped making music when he became a muslim. I am glad now that he is back making music again. That soundtrack and the movie helped me to understand that it was okay to be different.

I’ve never seen the movie, so I’ve no idea about what you’re talking about here. I just wanted to share with you that it’s GREAT to be different! If we are all the same, it’s so boring, isn’t it?
